The project began with an upgrade analysis effort. The goal
of this analysis was to drive a decision on whether to
upgrade the company's Financial Modules (GL, AP, AR, AM). To
that end, functionality existing in each of the newer
versions was analyzed and compared to future business
initiatives. After developing a five-year cost projection
with both alternatives, company made the decision to
upgrade. An aggressive 16-week plan to
complete the upgrade was executed. Additional scope of
project was to integrate Epicor SCM suite (Procurement,
Warehouse Management, Inventory, Demand Planning, Sourcing)
into Medicare billing system to provide real time analysis
of costs per tests while reducing inventory supplies based
on tests / supplies used in testing. Follow up study showed
reduced capital investment of $300K in inventory while
maintaining adequate supply levels to maintain continual
testing process.
Software Company
As Project Manager, led team conducting a full analysis of
all of company’s needs and presented a solution that
utilized Epicor's CRM, Financials and Order Management
applications to meet the company's business needs. The
solution was designed to enable Single-User Sign- On,
allowing access to Epicor's Financials and CRM applications,
as well as company’s internally developed applications. The
solution also provided company’s Sales and Marketing
departments with the necessary tools to dramatically improve
their campaigns and initiatives, and ensure that all orders
were correctly fulfilled.
